Posted by: on Feb 4, 2015 | No Comments

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church winter series begins this Thursday, January 29th

This education series will examine the faith traditions of Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Christianity from the perspectives of those who practice in these traditions. Presenters will include members of the Inter-Faith Forum in Bozeman who regularly meet to discuss life issues from their respective points of view:

January 29                               Rabbi Ed Stafman  (Judaism)

February 5                               Ruhul and Shadmani Amin  (Islam)

February 12                             Tom Wells  (Buddhism)

February 19                             The Rev. David Gunderson (Christianity)

Each program begins at 6:30 pm at St. Andrew’s in Livingston with a light soup supper. The presentations and discussions will begin around 7:00 pm.  We will address issues such as human fulfillment, suffering and loss, the basic tenets of each tradition, and the ways in which each of these traditions is commonly misunderstood. It is, of course, our hope that we cultivate an accurate and generous understanding of each other in our diverse and pluralistic world. Please call St. Andrew’s at (406) 222-0222 or visit standrewsepiscopalchurch.org for more information.
